read on, bitches:
20 March 2011
"Fudge Babies"
This recipe is really simple and absolutely delicious.
1 cup walnuts
1 1/3 cup dates
4 Tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
Put all ingredients in a food processor (or blender, magic bullet, etc.) and blend. Roll into balls. Enjoy.
If you don't have walnuts, pecans are also delicious. 1 1/3 cups is about 20 dates.
TIP: Make sure to remove the seeds from the dates before putting them in the food processor... its a nightmare picking them out if you don't and you'll notice if you bite down on one.

I think I may have to try this. Love chocolate!
ReplyDeleteI'm still working on alternatives to my avocado smoothie; this one this morning was sweet and delicious, could make a good dessert drink.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how much this yields; it filled a water bottle that has no measurement.
1/2 Avocado
1/3 Cucumber
1 Banana
1.5 C Muscle Milk (I had cake batter flavor)
8 ice cubes
The muscle milk and banana provided plenty of sweetness, so no honey in this one. Could try frozen berries or pineapple in place of the banana.
anyone interested in a paleo happy hour sometime soon? i gave the norcal margarita a test run. it's not bad.
ReplyDeleteI'm in for HH on Thursday!!!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am having a Paleo cook-out at my apt on Saturday March 26 at 12:30pm. All are welcome :-)
ReplyDeleteI saw something on the board about a Potluck at the box at 1:30 on Saturday. Suzannah- same thing or something different?
ReplyDeleteSame thing - but it is at 12:30pm, not 1:30. I forgot the '2' initially. Oops. I am fixing to put up a post.
