Cocoa Roast Almonds

I would like to applaud everyone who is embarking on the Paleo Challenge. You guys are awesome!

Although, I am not (my self-control when it comes to food is very limited) doing the Paleo Challenge, Jared is attempting to be Paleo while in Afghanistan. And it is harder than you would think since they don't have a kitchen in their rooms (which are the size of a shoe box). So I have been on the prowl for snacks that are as close to Paleo as possible to ship to him.

I have found one that I feel is the ultimate Paleo snack - Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds.

Manni may have to have the final word on these, but from my calculations I don't see anything that prohibits these from being Paleo.

AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!!

  1. I agree with Suzzy, these are some delicious brown nuts for your mouth.
Try them out. They are a Paleo savvy snack option. The only problem, is that if you aren't vigilant, you'll consume the whole bloody package while you are sitting down watching the brand new episode of The New Girl. You spent so much time not minding your consumption - because you realize that it seems this show was built around Zooey Deschanel and it seems like the only thing she had to do as a method study for this part was exist - so you went nuts on the nuts.
Bottom line, limit the nuts in your mouth and make sure that they are friendly. Furthermore, get your minds out of gutter. Can we please talk about the handling and mouthing of delectable brown nuts like adults?

ps - Jared, if you're reading this, how do you feel about Suzzy putting pictures of your nuts online? Still, I hope that these nuts find their way into your mouth as well as....
That's all the time I have today kid. Gotta go!
